Your data

What we keep

• Your email address, to send sign-in links. Nothing else about you, unless you add a name.
• What you add: stars, lists, notes and your practice log (dates, who you practised with as you typed it, how it went). Only you can see these.
• Reviews (when that arrives): a +1 or a flag on part of a pattern, with your note. Others see only counts ("confirmed by 4"); we may show a note publicly once we've answered it.
• Page views (not recorded yet): when it arrives, which patterns and parts are looked at, when, the kind of device, and the country and city the request comes from (no GPS). Only we see these, to know what to check and improve.

Where it lives

In a database at Supabase, and a nightly copy on our own web host (Dreamhost), so nothing is lost if either changes. Backups are kept for up to a year, then removed. We don't sell or share any of it.

Before you sign in, what you add is kept only in this browser; signing in sends it to your account.

Take it with you, or delete it

Deleting removes your stars, lists, notes, practice log and reviews from the database straight away and signs you out; your email address is removed too. Copies in the nightly backups age out within a year.
